Patriot's Point & Citadel Parade

Patriot's Point

The Patriot's Point tour allowed plenty of time to explore the USS Yorktown, USS Laffey and the USS Clagamore. We enjoyed visiting the entire aircraft carrier's hanger and flight deck. Then we wrapped it all up with a lunch in the CPO mess. Most of those present spent more time on the Laffey. This "tin can" is one of the most decorated ship's of all world war 2.

Citadel Parade & Review

This military college provides basic training to male and female cadets. The large campus houses over two thousand students and provides visitors with a stunning parade and cannonade on a reguar basis. We all enjoyed this visit.

Magnolia Plantation Tour

The Magnolia Plantation is a breathtaking journey into a rich history and beautiful gardens. It is the area's oldest plantation. Considered by experts to be "the most beutiful garden in the worls" for over one hundred years, its reputation today is kept alive by lantings which offer the maximum color possible during every season. There is beauty at every turn! This magnificant plantation is history personified. Walking through the histtoric gardens, we learned about the slave cabins and the many swamps that sourround the property. We toured the house and tram ride through the ricce fields and wildlift habitat. Saw the home of the Draytons since 1676!
