Information Requests

Received this question from shipmate Pete Peterson via Historian Gil Beyer on Saturday, 9/8/2012:

Hi Gil,
I found two ships patches, one for the DD before she became a DDR and one for the DDR. After the fram conversion, she changed back ro the DD designation.
Do you know if a third patch was issued after the Fram conversion?
Thanks

Received the following inquiry from John Pearson on August 16, 2007:
Hi, I'm trying to contact Ronnie Tyler, an old friend of mine, but my e-mail keeps coming back saying "illegal domain name."  We were in the Med together in '54.  I was on the USS Randolph (CVA-15).  We were close friends as kids before we joined the Navy. Thanks for the help: John Pearson vzd1s20t@verizon.net or johnnyp-1@msn.com

On August 9, 2006, received an e-mail from the Ship's Historian, Gil Beyer:
Please read and send info to Gil if you have any: "We are still soliciting contributions of stories, memorabilia, sea tales and pictures for the book we hope to put together and the video I am trying to create over this winter. All of us have some stories to tell. Let’s gather them together and share them with our shipmates. I know I have some great memories, and some not so great, of my 3 years onboard. I’m betting that many of you do too. So, let’s get hot put words on paper! Details on who to send it to can be found our Association web page. Also, if anyone has POD’s, letters, photos, patches or anything of that nature please sends them to me. I’ll copy the item and return the original to the owner."
